I am the sole systems engineer for a ~130 employee company. The Director of IT is my manager. Knowing that we are growing, I wanted to develop a plan to implement the various aspects of the MOF in terms of service delivery and management. Does anyone have any experience with deploying this framework or any recommendations on how to begin? I have downloaded the executive overview, but it’s dry reading and provide little in terms of how to go about implementing it. I wanted to get this stuff going before we find outselves in a situation where we have no clue how to proceed because we lack structure. I’ve checked out ITIL, but run into the same problem…how do I start the process and make the pitch to management about why we need to invest the time into implementation.
