Microsoft OutLook

One of my company employe bring its laptop from U.S.A.it has windows vista. when i configure Exchange server in microsoft outlook its giving error that check mail option in controll panel to configure outlook exchange.
But there is not mail option in controll panel whats the reason.kindly assist me
