Hi, was hoping someone would be able to help me out here. I?ve setup a system on the network for RRAS. It has both an external and internal IP address assigned to separate NIC?s. I ran through the Configuration and Enable Routing and Remote Access, setting up a PPTP VPN. So far everything has been successful. I can authenticate and log onto the network remotely, authentication is done via a domain controller. When I ping any of the internal network hosts from my remote client I can get a response. However when I attempt to access any resources wither it be a windows share, or the network intranet site I get no response. Permissions are correctly set for the windows share, and I have tried access both using their FQDN, and local IP addresses.
After this happened I then attempted to connect to the intranet site directly using a telnet session on port 80. It appears a connection is established however no TCP/IP traffic seems to be getting returned to the client. Only ICMP (Ping request provide this).
Following this I checked the filter settings on the servers LAN NIC, there does not appear to be any filter settings set.
Any help on the matter would be appreciated, as I find it a little weird that I can connect to no problem, ping the systems within the network, yet not access any resources what so ever.
