Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express

Please Help Me..This program is driving me insane, I installed this program due to the current class that I am taking, however, this program will not allow me to create a new database it keeps telling me that the Error Message 262 Create Database Denied in Database Master…. Considering that I am the only person who is using this software and no one else is why is this doing it and how can I get it to grant me the permission?
