Microsoft SUS – Changing Service Properties

by tking . Updated 19 years, 11 months ago

I have a client that is using SUS to automate updates to WIN 2003. After the update is applied, he finds that our Report Engine is not running. And, the account associated with that service has been changed from the “Administrator” account and back to the “System” account. They need it to be under the Administrator account to allow for printing in the domain. This does not happen after every update. But, it happens often enough to be a problem. Do you have any ideas or suggestions on what is happening here and how we can prevent it?
