Microsoft Updates (kb951698)

I am having trouble with a microsoft update – kb951698 on a Windows XP laptop.

The update was downloaded and installed successfully – it is flagged as success in add/remove programs. However, as soon as it is installed, it downloads again and awaits iin system tray to be installed again.. and again.. and again.

How can I tell the PC that this update has been installed so that I will not get it downloaded anymore.

This has only happened for about the past 10 days and I have rolled back to a restore point prior to this, but this does not help.

Any advice very welcome.
