Microsoft Vista Internet connection problem

Hi all,

I have microsoft vista business edition. connected to the local network. when i ping to the local network gateway, it is working. but internet not connecting. when i tried to diagnose the connection problem, it is returning no error. I have tried with and without proxy. Other XP machines in the network are working fine. What could be the problem?. Anything wrong with the configuration? The machine received the IP configuration from the DHCP server.
