Mirror of drive C

My friend called me and asked if I knew what to do about his PC filling up the drive seemingly by itself.
I asked him if he had a Virus or something but I didn’t know that much about XP and it’s features.
He says that it looks like the PC is creating a mirror immage in the NetHood folder. Any Ideas?
