Mirroring Hard Drives

I have windows server 2003.
I had two hard drives mirrored and one went bad and the other is on its way. It has been able to be recovered and I would like to mirror it with another new hard drive however it will only sync to about 42% and the stop.
The primary hard drive has a bad block is what it says in the event log.
Does anyone know if there is a way to force a mirror?
Any help would be appreciated.
