Missing COM 1-4 and trouble with COM 5

I am missing all of my COM ports in Device Manager. My palm cannot hot sync. I have been trying to get them back but it only lets me install COM 5. There is also an issue with it. I’ve tried MSCONFIG and still no luck getting them back. I havee also downloaded the latest chipset. Can anyone help??
