Mobile app installed on a flash drive that can log all songs played

I have songs and adverts recorded on a flash drive that I insert in a plug and play Screen in a public place but I’m looking for a way to get logs of what song or advert played at a particular time. I’m looking for an app maybe that I could install on the flash drive that can be able to do this.
The other idea I thought of was an app that works like shazam that can be installed on the drive whose purpose is to record a portion of the song whenever a new song is played. hope I explained clearly.

Does anybody have an idea on this?
