MODEM STRINGS

Hello,
I have an HSP Audio Modem Riser Modem. I have trouble staying connected to my ISP, especially when I use Netmeeting. I have resolved that it is not the ISP. I heard you can adjust the modem strings to make it not get disconnected so easy. any help appreciated.
