Modem – Wireless Router Relationship

Hi All, I’m trying to find out if a wireless router (Netgear Rangemax) that was originally set up with a cable modem can be moved to another location that is using a DSL modem. Any help is appreciated, I can’t seem to find anything on this particular topic.
