Monitor shut off

My monitor shuts off but the pc is still running. I know its running because the LED is is still on and i hear the fan is working. I dont know why monitor getting off. I need to restart all over again to see the display in monitor. I already tried to change monitor but the problem still exist. Anyone have idea bout this problem? that’s big help..
