I’m looking at drawing up a monthly maintenance contract for a client.
I was just wondering how other techs out there come up with their inclusions, exclusions and pricings for these sorts of things.
I’m looking for a modular approach so that variables can be added and removed to suit different SMB environments.
For example, I have a client, 4 computers plus 2 servers. Seems small enough. But, take into consideration it’s 2 separate offices connected via a VPN WAN link, each have thier own site server with DFS/FRS syncronisation…
See, if they were a single site without all the FRS site replication, the complexities are halved and a standard SMB maintenance plan wouldn’t really suffice – do you see what I mean?
I was hoping others might have a guide they use – i.e. allow a pre-defined amount of time for for each computer, for each server, for each site/office etc.
