More DNS issues

When I join my domain I cannot join unless I add a DNS entry to the client PC first. My DC and DNS server is 192.168.1.100. Once I add this, I can join the domain. I reboot the client and login and remove the DNS entry. Everything is fine from there.

Is there any way to not have to add the DNS entry to join the domain?
