We have been having an increase in Blue screens of Death with windoes XP Pro on our network of varrying types. We have been doing testing and research into each type of stop code, and have not been able to find a pattern to come up with a solution. We have about 600 pc’s on a city wide network. If I were to pin down a time when this started happening, it woul dbe just after we applied the patch for Daylight Savings time in late February. I do not know if there is a connection there or not. Has anyone else started having a rash of BSD’s? We do use an older verson of SMS, and version 9 of SAM (Corporate version, pushed out to clients and manaaged by specific servers). We do have group policies in place, users are not admins, do not have write access to the C: drive, things are (and have been) pretty locked down.
