Motherboard

by spk . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

The only computer I have is the one I have just built……..and will not work.

It is an AMD 850Mhz with 40Gb HDD, 256Mb RAM, 230V power supply. It has onboard sound. The video card is 32Mb and I have a DVD, CD-RW and floppy drive. When I bootup the BIOS beeps only once and correctly Identifies the HDD, CD-RW and DVD but I just cannot install Windows ME.

Amongst the errors I’ve had are “SCSI present but not configured at the PCI bus”, “Your program has caused a divide overflow Error” and “….corrupted CAB file”

Anyone any idea what is wrong. Can I test the motherboard somehow?
