MOuse will quit wirking

I have a microsoft USB mouse and a regular port mouse. Both of these no matter where they are plugged in will quit working after awhile on my computer. They just disapear and are no longer active. I need to reeboot my PC, and then they work again. at first I thought it was my USB, but then I plugged in the other mouse using the standard port, and it is the same thing.
