Moving a HDD

I have a 3GB drive split into 1GB Primary and 2GB Extended partitions. I need to move the 2GB back to the primary for more space. How do I do this without reloading the entire operating system?? I know there is software that will let me do this, please tell me your favorite solutions for this.
