moving dns from 2000 to 2003

Hi I’ve upgraded my domain to win2k3 AD from NT4 and prior to upgrade dns was running on a windows 2000 machine. DNS is workig fine, but I’d like to decommision this 2000 machine as it is old and make a win2k3 machine the sole DNS server. Do i have to set everything up again on the win2k3 machine or can i transfer DNS easily? Any suggestions what to do?
