Moving from W98 to new XP PC-drivers

My present W98 setup works fine but I plan to buy a new XP PC soon. Is there a painless way of copying all the drivers for my peripherals (printers,camera,isdn,scanner etc)for loading on new PC.
Or is it safer to download latest drivers from net and load them manually.
