May be it is a very common prob but I seached a lot before writing here.
We had Ex server 2k3 installed in the AD domain controller which was the dns and dhcp server as well. it was an old machine so bought a better one. We are planning to migrate everything from old-ad to new-ad. we installed windows sever 2k3 to the new server, installed BDC and exchange and moved the mail boxes to the new server. old server (pdc) is like mail.domain.com and new server is mail2.domain.com. now our users cant use outlook to connect mail. Now how we can migrate the rest of the services to mail2.domain.com and make it PDC and remove mail.domain.com from domain and finally make mail2.domain.com to mail.domain.com without interrupting users?
Anyone pls guide. sorry for long post 🙂
