it says in my Win98SE Proxy Authentication Required
HTTP 407 – proxy authentication required.
i’m using DSL PPPoE dynamic addressing & I have 2 NIC’s installed
Win2k SRV w/SP2.
External NIC Public 169.254.211.21
Internal NIC Private 192.168.0.1
and PPPoE 64.229.195.79
win98SE client IP from DHCP is 192.168.0.248
And my LAT on my Proxy server is from 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255
am I doing the configuration right? is this right?
and i’m only using 2 computers. 1 Win2kSRV & 1 win98SE.
this is my first time installing MS proxy 2. what did i miss???
And I also tried this on my win98SE Client DOS prompt:
C:\mspclnt> chkwsp32 /f after I press enter, it says this
Your credentials were not authenticated
Client control protocol version MATCHES the server control protocol
I still can’t go online, please help.
