MSM AND AUDIO CONFIG

Hi, this one has me in a tizzy…Msn messenger has a audio/video tuning wizard for setting up visual and verbal communication,it detects my web cam but not my microphone, i can here my voice through my speakers but there is a voice level indicator showing no detection and a message to confirm no microphone detected,my sound card has full duplex “Audigy Platinum” i have all the latest updates and drivers.o/s windows xp pro.latest version of msn6 installed, i have been at this now for a week and have visited various web sites and posted the same question, i have asked msn tech support and they have supplied various tips but alas none have helped me resolve this problem,Heres hopping for some better luck here, Thanks.
