MSN 6.0 is not working in XP Pro

I have a winproxy4 over my proxy server whereas on the LAN users side there’s mix of OSes win95, 95 NT4, Win2k Pro & XP Pro. I have problem running MSN Messenger 6.0 in XP Pro (no ICF has been configured in XP). The SOCKS permission been given to the client & its working OK in Win98, Win2k & other OSes except XP Pro. When the LAN usere tries to connect thru MSN Msgnr while in XP it just didn’t connect after a while returns err “check user name/password or proxy settings” i have had tried every thing every parameter in Internet Explorer at the workstation but not able to connect the MSN6.0 thru XP Workstations only. Pl. help.
