ok here is my set up store on has T1 lan 1.5 mps advantage from fuse for internet. this is piped to 3 locations for internet and Mainframe to each location using T1 lines. so i have 1 T1 coming in store 1 and 3 T1 lines leaving store 1 for data and 1 T1 leaving store 1 to Store 2 for voice. ok i have a company that wants to drop the T1 lines and install 4 VPN Routers each with an independent DSL/CAble internet hook up. i see that the price could be cheaper but i don’t know enough about VPN to say that this would be the way to go. where if all they want to do is speed up tthe internet i could just speed up my current lan advantage to a higher rate with out having to rewire all the VPNs but keep the current T1. would it be wise to use VPN or stay with the T1’s and up the internet speed?
