On my laptop I am using GAG (Graphical Boot Manager) to boot into 3 different versions of XP Pro.
The three versions are used as follows:
1) Clean
2) Development
3) Testing
This works really well for me as if I break something in (3) Testing I can still use the laptop for my day to day work by booting (1) Clean.
I am using Acronis (great tool!) and Parted Magic (an opensource alternative to Partition Magic) boot disks (CD) for restoring any of the partitions from an image should anything go wrong.
What I’d like to know is: Is there an way to create a logical partition that holds all the ISOs of all the bootable utility CDs that I use and be able to boot from them on demand?
If it is this would assist me greatly because then I wouldn’t have to carry around all the CD’s with me, plus I imagine it would be quicker booting from the hard drive and I’d have the added advantage of not having to swap CDs all the time.
