I would like to follow the recent tip about making a custom button which will display a box with comments/instructions — but I would like to have multiple buttons which would display the appropriate instruction box. I.e. I want one “comment box” for column E, and a DIFFERENT “comment box” for column H but in my copy of Excel 2002, I only see one custom button (a smiley face). I tried making a comment box for each column (E and H) with the same button icon but two instances in the toolbar; what happened then was that whichever button I clicked caused BOTH comment boxes to appear at the same time.
Can I have multiple independent macro boxes on one spread sheet? If not, is the only solution to put the instructions off to the side (say, column AB) which can then be hidden when printing the sheet?
