my home NT network, server problem

by hpdong . Updated 25 years, 9 months ago

I have a NT server and a NT workstation at home. The small LAN had been fine for a couple of months. But since a few days ago, I have experienced a connection problems. After I boot my server and workstation, my workstation can log on to the server. However, few minutes later, the connection between server and workstation disappear. They can not reach each other through network neighbourhood, server manager, or anything else. Even I reboot the workstation, it can no longer log on to the server. The only solution is to reboot the server. I have tried removing DHCP server, WINS server, and DNS server. I made a static IP address for the workstation. I reinstalled the NT workstation yesterday. But the problem is still there. I’m sure it is theserver’s problem. But I can not figure it out. Can anyone help?
