My Laptop keeps freezing up, can someone help?

well everytime i start up my machine,it starts up but after a while using it(15-20mins) it freezes and when i restart, it freezes at the windows xp logo screen,i tried reinstalling xp-pro twice but this does’nt seem to work, can someone please help?
