MY NETWORK PLACES

am working in an organization that has LAN which is again connected to the service provider through a router/converter for internet. the service provider has given us 5 ip adresses.but i dont see the icons of other computers in my network places.but pinging and searching is ok from my computer.again from other computers my network places is working fine.i tried in many ways but in vain.i tried formating and reinstalling xp pro in my pc.no solution.
