My new Micron’s Integrated NIC is wacked

I have purchases a new Micron Note with an INtel pro/100 ve integrated nic. When I try to put it on the network the network slows rto a crawl. We have a mixed mode win 2k 100T network with static addressing. The notebook has Win XP Pro. When I configure the tcp/ip properties with the correct addrress and put the cable in the card starts sending millions of packets while recieving a few or none. Micron has sent me 3 notebooks in an attempt to fix this problem. Any ideas???
