my pc is not connecting wirelessly to the internet

i have a dell mini with windows xp. had it for well over a year now and it recently stopped working on wireless internet. i have a excellent signal to my router and have checked the wep a few times. i have connected it via ethernet and it works great that way. just not getting anything on wireless. any ideas?
