My printer has recently stop printing word documents

My computer has recently stopped printing word documents (word 2003). Printer is epson rx685 have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and uninstalled and re-instlled word.

The printer works in all other applications however the whole printing process takes signicantly longer than usual.
