Hi, I’m new here and I hope to get my question answered 🙂
I’m using Windows XP Professional Edition with SP3. My computer used to work fine two days ago. After reinstalling Kaspersky Internet Security 7 (after having update problems) my computer has started to make problems. After turning it on, When it showed the XP loading bar, it would proceed to load for 5 seconds or so (sometimes it get stuck and just load forever) and then the screen would go black. The monitor is working but the screen is black.
There is no “Blue Screen” or any reboot.
I tried to use System Recovery, but it doesn’t work. I can’t recover my computer to earlier date (no matter what recover point I choose, I just can’t get this method to work!).
Starting XP with “Safe Mode” works fine.
I tried to reinstall my graphics drivers and it didn’t help.
I tried to use “Last Known Good Configuration” and it didn’t help.
What should I do now? how can I slove this problem?
