my windows is shutting down when i open the command prompt

my booting/start up and other programs are fine, but when i open the command prompt the main problem occur windows just shut down a window will pop-out and say windows will shutdown in 3-2-1 bam shutdown, is there a virus in my pc or something, if anyone there has the same problem please help me out, o and there is an .exe file opening in my taskbar called VM305_STI.exe what the hell is this? is this a virus or worm? and is this dangerous to my pc? thats all
