MySQL

I am having MySQL visited upon albeit for a trial. I’ve used a lot of databases in the past but not this one.

Trawling through the internet shows everything from a base version (which appears to use command line instructions) to additional tools and interfaces which cost money (for a small trial software).

Does anyone have any experience or can point me in the direction of MySQL documentation which presumes I don’t know what I’m doing!!
