NCP Trace/Optimization needed??

Running netware 4.11 with intranetware sbe. Running groupwise 5.2 and Goldmine contact manager. lately users have been complaining about the netwoe=rk being slow. I did a trace of NCP traffic and observed that there were alternate requests and replies of 4k and 512k respectively.

Why would there be as little as 4k requested in a session with a delta time ranging from .3 micro seconds to 1.5 milliseconds. completion codes were all ok. Is there some optimization needed somewhere. thanks!
