Neat scanner NWDB files, how can you access the images?

I had a Neat scanner, I scanned a ton of documents. Most of them seem to be in NWDB files. Neat no longer services legacy software. Basically they want me to pay $300 to migrate. Ummm I paid for your piece of garbage scanner and software to begin with. I just want my images to be converted to PDF.
