NEC Versa Premium Laptop Memory info

I would like some information on the NEC Versa Premium Laptop memory. I was wondering whether I would need to buy authentic NEC compatible memory or if I could buy other memory that would work. I currently have 112Mb of RAM and wish to upgrade to 256Mb…. please help.
