I need to completely wipe out my current OUTLOOK
calendar/contacts/etc. (XP PRO). I would like to replace it
with the data from a “clean copy” residing on a Win2k Pro
machine. (Both are running Office 2000). Can I do this
simply without having to do a re-install? Can I just rename
the Xp pst file to outlook.old and import the pst from
Win2k machine? If I just rename the xp pst file and don’t
replace with the Win2k file,, do I then get the opportunity
to “start fresh” on the XP machine and redo Outlook from
scratch. Neither machine is on a Exchange server. Home /
small business network only with a new PDA that will synch
when the info is cleaned up.
