Need software for filtering Security Log

I would like to do some reporting and filtering of my NT 4.0 network security logs and would like reccomendations for software. Price is of high importance I have found some software but at 500 a server forget it!
I would like to answer questions like:
Show me all denied access logins?
Show me all logins at midnight?
