Need to create Notes ‘user/db/id/?’

I have been saddled with implementing a notes/exchange connector between 5.5 and r5.

The problem: We have no one who knows anything about notes. So I am crashing through my new dummies book, while browsing online help.

I need to create a notes id, grant manager access with that id to names.nsf, add netmodifier and netcreator roles to the id, andmanager access to mail.box.

So, tell me how to do it.
