Need to find contract work

I have just started doing contract work. It happened kinda on accident. I had posted my resume EVERYWHERE I could find to post it and a recruiter called me with a 1 day job. I’ve had several 1 day jobs with them now, but I need to find more work if possible. Any suggestions on where to look for more recruiters? I’ve searched online, but its hard to tell whats for real and whats a scam. Any advise is appreciated!!
