Net logon failurer

Dear friends

i have windows 2003 server & xp clint am not able to accesses server from clint side i recd error server is not acessable , so check service on server i found that net logon service is stopped i tried to start but i can’t, i recd error while starting services net logon service on local computer started & then stoppped some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example the perfomance log and alert servece

please helpm in this regards
