NetBIOS

I have 3 Win XP machines in a workgroup, receiving DHCP from a Netgear router. Two of them are owrking perfectly fine, but the I can only connect to the third machine using it’s IP address (which can change occasionally). I think it’s a NetBIOS thing but I don’t know for sure.
