NetBios name appearing

There is a peculiar incident happening in my network wherein a computer whose name was configured as ABC keeps appearing on all new pc installtions even though a new name is given to the new installtion. The person ABC has left the company long back. We have formatted ABC’s pc,but still the name appears on new installtions and in the workgroup as well.

Please assist.
