Netware 4.10

by shanghai sam . Updated 24 years, 4 months ago

A couple of questions.

I have a small network with under 10 units, most of the time we only have 5 units active. With Netware 4.10, installed not 4.11. Everything works fine. We have a low budget. What is the great advantage for me to upgrade? Wehave no website or need for one!

I want to replace the old hard drive. I would like to partition a 1 GB for dos. Then partition the rest for netware. Do i still have to format it as fat instead of fat32 or NTFS?

I would like to reinstall 4.10 on the new hard drive. Then I believe I need to manually install the print server stuff. I would like to get this all ready now. Then some day restore from a current backup. Get my NIC installed properly and load up our printers. Will I run into aproblem trying to do this with my license? Can I install it
like this? Then, I could just disable the old license and reformat it for a local drive. Will it let me do this?

Any suggestions or outlines on how to accomplish this would be greatlyappreciated. I want make it as painless and quick as possible.

Thanks
