Netware 6 log’s

I have implemented netware 6 server in my network , but i can’t find th VOL$LOG.ERR file .
novell say’s it’s under sys:system\
but it’s not at least in my system

can any one help me ??
i need to monitor the system status since i have critical database’s that is sinsitive to mount and umount failures
